How to register for the UEE, UPEE and UET?

Registration has begun for the Unified Entrance Exam (UEE), Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE), and Unified Entrance Test in Research Methodology (UET). We remind you that the UEE must be taken by absolutely everyone — future master’s students, future PhDs, and future doctors of philosophy and arts. However, the UPEE is only required for master’s students in certain specialties (the results of the UPEE are used for most specialties; the list can be found in our article). The UETis only taken by applicants to doctoral programs.

Registration for these exams is carried out by university admissions committees, regardless of whether you are applying for a master’s or postgraduate program — registration is carried out by educational institutions. If you are confused by the nuances, contact us, we will help you register easily and simply for both master’s and postgraduate programs!

What can potential master’s and postgraduate students expect during registration? 🤔

Let’s determine the deadlines (main session):

Start: May 2

End: 6:00 p.m. on May 23

Where to go and what to do? 🧭

Registration can be done in person at the admissions committee in the presence of the applicant or remotely. Remote registration is possible if the applicant submits scanned copies of the necessary documents signed with a qualified electronic signature (QES) or Dія.Підпис. Important! ⚠️ Registration for the UEE / UPEE / UET is only possible once at one university, and the results will be valid for admission to all higher education institutions in Ukraine. Moreover, you cannot register twice for the UEE — one of the registrations will be automatically canceled.

Required documents (scanned copies): 📄

  1. Application form (in case of remote registration — signed with a QES/Diy.Signature). Sample applications can be downloaded at the link.

What to indicate? ✍️

1.1. Educational institution 🏫

1.2. Specialty you plan to study. If you are considering several specialties, you must indicate the specialty that requires the EIT when registering — if necessary (please note whether the university accepts applications for this specialty). 1.8. Contact phone number 📱

1.9. Information on the need to create special conditions for testing — for applicants whose illnesses are included in the list of diseases and pathological conditions that give the right not to take the external independent evaluation. The list can be viewed at the link.

1.10. Need to take the UEE (yes/no). Please note that this year, the UEE is required for admission to all master’s and doctoral programs! ✅

1.11. Foreign language of the UEE (English, German, French, or Spanish). 🌐

  1. If applicable: documents confirming the applicant’s right to special (special) conditions for taking the entrance exams using the entrance exams technology (form 086-3/о) ♿
  2. Photographs for documents, size 3×4 cm (or a file in .jpg format with an aspect ratio of 3×4, no larger than 1 MB). 📸
