Application statuses in electronic accounts

We know that applicants often get confused about statuses in electronic accounts, so we have prepared a short cheat sheet for you! Save it and use it 😊

📧 “Application received from the website” Technical status: the application has been received by the educational institution but has not yet been reviewed by the admissions committee.

🔄 “Registered” Your application has been accepted by the higher education institution for consideration. A decision on admission to the competitive selection process will be made.

✅ “Admitted” Excellent! You have been admitted to participate in the competition for a budget or contract. Please wait for the results of the distribution.

❌ “Cancelled (loss of priority)” The electronic application is considered not submitted. The right to submit a new application with the same priority has been lost.

⏸️ “Pending” The electronic application has been accepted by the higher education institution for consideration, but clarification of the applicant’s data is required.

🚫 “Rejected” The applicant has not been admitted to participate in the competitive selection based on the decision of the admissions committee.

💚 “Recommended (budget)” Great news! The algorithm recommends you for admission to a budget place. Get ready to confirm!

💙 “Recommended (contract)” You have received a recommendation for contract training. Perhaps with a grant from the state!

🎯 “Pending” Congratulations! You have been admitted to a budget or contract program. All you have to do now is wait for the official admission order.

Life hack: Check the status of your applications regularly in your electronic account! This way, you will always be aware of what is happening with your admission. If you have any questions, please contact us!

Revolution in admission-2025: priorities for contracts

🔄 The targeted placement algorithm, which previously only worked for state funded spots, now covers contract places too! This means that the system will find the best option for you from all the applications submitted. ✨

❓ Why is this important?

📊 In 2024, 4,700 applicants turned down state funded spots in favor of contract places at more prestigious universities. Previously, turning down a state funded spot meant losing the right to a grant. Now, everything works completely differently. 🔄

⚙️ How the new system works:

🔢 Up to 15 applications in total (including up to 5 for state funded spots)

📋 Two types of applications:

  • 💰 Applications for state-funded places (up to 5).
  • 💳 Applications for contract places (the rest).

🎯 The algorithm works as follows:

  1. 📈 Considers your applications from highest to lowest priority.
  2. ✅ It selects the best option where you have enough points (regardless of whether it is budget or contract).
  3. ⏹️ It stops reviewing after the recommendation is given, even if it is for a contract. All other applications are automatically excluded from the competition.

📝 Application strategy:

If budget is always a priority: place all budget applications in the first positions. 🥇

If a specific university is more important: state funded spot and contract applications for this HEI next to each other — you can submit two applications for one competition offer with different priorities. 🎓

If you have a “dream university”: you can even put its contract application first. 💭

⚠️ Important rules:

⚠️ Refusal of a budget = loss of the right to a grant. 💸

⚠️ Priorities cannot be changed after submitting applications. 🔒

⚠️ Each application must confirm your willingness to study there.

💡 Recommendations from M8:

  1. 🎯 Be honest with yourself — set priorities according to your real preferences.
  2. 💰 Consider your financial capabilities — especially for contract places.
  3. 📅 On the first day, only submit applications that you are absolutely sure about.

🌟 What this means for you:

🚀 Now you can confidently apply for both state funded spot and contract places at your dream university without fear of missing out. The algorithm will find the best option for you based on your priorities!

🎉 Ready for a new era of admissions? 🌟

⚖️ This system makes admissions fairer and gives everyone a chance to get into their dream university. The main thing is to think through your strategy and set your priorities honestly! If you’re not sure, reach out to us, we’re here to help. 🤝

The first day of applications for bachelor's degrees is tomorrow

Tomorrow, July 19, is the official start of online applications to Ukrainian universities. This is the moment when your dreams of higher education become one step closer to reality!

Key information:

📅 When to apply: from July 19 to August 1 at 6:00 p.m.

💻 Where to apply: exclusively through the applicant’s electronic account on the website vstup.edbo.gov.ua.

🎯 How to apply: be sure to indicate your priorities for state-funded and contract-based programs, i.e., for all 15 applications (this is very important!).

Important technical details:

You can submit up to 15 applications (including 5 for state-funded programs) for any chosen specialties at any higher education institutions. Each application must be prioritized from 1 to 15, where 1 is the highest priority.

Why are priorities so important?

Priorities are your plan A, B, C, and so on. Setting priorities is an important step because you cannot change them after submitting your application. Plus, for state-supported specialties, there is an industry coefficient of 1.02, but only for applications with priorities 1 and 2!

Required element:

All applicants to higher education institutions must submit motivation letters — this is a required element of the application. Prepare them in advance! If it’s hard, don’t hesitate to contact us, we’ll write everything together!

Life hacks for the first day:

✅ Don’t rush — you have almost two weeks

✅ Once you have submitted your first application, you cannot make any changes to your electronic account. Therefore, it is better to make sure that all data has been uploaded correctly.

✅ First, decide on a list of desired specialties. If you still haven’t decided, don’t hesitate to contact us, we’ll help!

✅ Calculate your competitive scores for each of them. To do this, it is convenient to use our competition score calculator.

Need help?

Contact us, we are here to make everything simple and fast!

Remember

The date of creation of your account or submission of your application does not affect your competitive score in any way, and therefore your chances of getting a state-funded place.

Ready to change your life?

State grants for 2025

💰 The government has updated the conditions for granting state grants for 2025. Now, talented applicants who have not received a recommendation for state funding will be able to partially cover their tuition fees! 🎓

💸 Grant amounts for 2025:

🥉 17,000 UAH – first-level grant. 💳 For those who have passed two subjects of the National Multidisciplinary Test with a score of 150+ points (140+ for specialties with special support – Appendix 6 to the Admission Procedure-2025). 📈

🥇 25,000 UAH – second-level grant (for those who have passed two NMT subjects with 170+ points). 💎

🆕 New feature in 2025 – a regional coefficient of 1.5!

🗺️ If you graduated from school in 2025 in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, or Mykolaiv regions and are applying to a university in the same regions, your grant will be increased by 1.5 times: 📊

  • 25,000 × 1.5 = 37,500 UAH. 💸

🛡️ This is support for regions that are under constant threat of shelling.

⚙️ Industry coefficients also apply:
