- 📈 UEE – you can use the results from 2023, 2024, or 2025 (minimum 150 points for each block).
- ✍️ Entrance exams in the specialty – conducted at the higher education institution.
- 📚 Additional tests – for applicants from other fields of knowledge (at the discretion of the university) + research proposals, abstracts on the topic of the dissertation, etc.

Recommendations for master's students in the admissions accounts!
📅 Today the long-awaited results of the distribution of state-funded places for master’s programs have appeared in the electronic accounts of applicants. The targeted placement algorithm has processed all applications with priorities that had the status “Admitted.” ⚙️
🔍 WHERE TO CHECK THE RESULT?
💻 First, log in to your electronic account at vstup.edbo.gov.ua and check the status of your applications:
- 🎯 “Recommended (state-funded)” – congratulations, you have successfully passed the competitive selection for a budget place!
- ⏳ “Admitted” – unfortunately, you did not receive a recommendation for a budget place, but do not lose hope – wait for recommendations for a contract, which will appear no later than September 1.
🌐 Additional lists of recommended applicants are available on the official websites of universities.
✅ WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE RECOMMENDED FOR A STATE-FUNDED PLACE?
🚀 If you have received the recommendation you wanted, you need to act quickly and efficiently. By August 30 at 6:00 p.m., you must complete two mandatory steps:
📝 Step 1: Confirmation in your electronic account
💻 Log in to your applicant account and confirm your desire to study in your chosen specialty. This can be done in one of two ways:
- 🔐 using a qualified electronic signature (QES).
- 📱 using Diya.Signature.
📄 Step 2: Send documents to the university
📤 After confirming in your account, be sure to send a package of documents to the higher education institution to which you have been recommended. ⚠️ Please note: each university has its own list of required documents and its own requirements for their submission (in person, by mail, or electronically). Be sure to check this information on the institution’s website or by calling the admissions office.
🚨 Important: Confirmation in your electronic account alone is not sufficient for enrollment!
💳 WHAT TO DO IF YOU DID NOT GET A STATE-FUNDED PLACE?
🔄 If you did not receive a recommendation for a state-funded place, you still have the opportunity to enroll on a contract basis. Recommendations for contract-based education will appear no later than September 1. Keep an eye on updates in your electronic account and on university websites. 👀

Reimbursement: what applicants for 2025 need to know
📚 Important information for those who previously studied on a state-funded programmes, were expelled and plan to reapply for a state-funded programme or apply for a state grant.
👥 Who is required to reimburse:
• 🎓 Those expelled from state-funded programmes → applying for state-funded programmes.
• 💳 Those expelled from state-funded programmes → applying for programmes with a state grant (NEW!) 🆕
• 🎁 Those who received a grant and are reapplying for it (NEW!) 🆕
📜 In accordance with Resolution No. 658 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 26 August 2015 (as amended), this is only possible if the funds spent by the state on previous education are reimbursed.
⚠️ Please note: The amount of reimbursement significantly exceeds the cost of the contract and does not depend on it! 💸
🤔 ALGORITHM OF ACTIONS:
1. 🏫 Contact the university where you previously studied and request an academic transcript. It takes up to 2 weeks to process, so don’t delay! ⏰
2. 🎓 The issue of reimbursement arises or will arise for applicants to master’s programmes only after they have been recommended for a state-funded place or have received a grant.
3. ✅ After the recommendation: The admissions committee will inform you of the need for reimbursement and instruct you on how to proceed. 📞
4. 📝 After enrolment: Within 10 days, contact your new university with your academic transcript to complete the reimbursement documents.
🎯 Reimbursement applies to everyone – bachelors, masters and PhDs, so please pay attention! 🔍
📊 About the amount: The exact amount can only be determined after enrolment. It is not possible to calculate it in advance. ❓
💡 Important: This also applies to those who are applying for a state grant in 2025! If you previously studied on a state-funded programmes and were expelled, be prepared for reimbursement. 🚨
Applications for master's programs are now open
Electronic applications for master’s programs are now open! Over the next three weeks (until 6 p.m. on August 25), applicants will be able to submit applications to their dream universities through their electronic accounts.
Key dates for master’s admission:
📅 Until August 25 (6:00 p.m.) – submission of applications.
📊 Until August 28 – ranking and recommendations (state funded).
✅ Until August 30 (6:00 p.m.) – confirmation of place of study (state funded).
🎓 September 1 – enrollment on the state funded.
💰 By September 30 – enrollment on a contract.
Our expert advice to avoid mistakes:
1️⃣ Don’t rush on the first day! It is better to wait a few days to see what scores and priorities other applicants are submitting. This will help you better assess your chances.
2️⃣ Priorities are sacred! ⚠️ It is IMPOSSIBLE to change the priority of your application! The priority system has not been in place for long in master’s programs, so be especially careful. If in doubt, ask for advice! By the way, as before, there are only 5 priorities for state funded applications in master’s programs.
3️⃣ Check your account before submitting your application ✅ Make sure your photo is up to date and of good quality.
✅ Make sure your phone number is correct.
⚠️ Once you have submitted your first application, you cannot change anything!
4️⃣ A motivation letter is a must! 📝 Don’t forget to prepare and submit a motivation letter with each application. This is your chance to tell us about yourself!
5️⃣ The form of education matters
Separate applications must be submitted for full-time, distance, and part-time programs. Choose the right form carefully!
6️⃣ Monitor the status of your applications 👀 Check the status in your account regularly.
📧 Universities will notify you of any problems.

Additional session of the UEE and UPEE for master's is starting!
Today, July 29, an additional session of the unified entrance exam and unified professional entrance exam for future master’s students begins. Testing will continue until August 18.
Attention participants!
🔔 Starting July 25, invitations/passes with all the necessary information about the testing will be available in your accounts on the UCEQA website.
The invitation will contain the following information:
📅 The date of your testing.
🕐 The exact start time.
📍 The location of the UEE / UPEE.
Important preparation:
✅ Plan your day in advance – being late is not an option!
✅ Plan your route and allow extra time for travel.
✅ Prepare your documents – you must bring the original exam sheet.
Documents required for admission:
📋 The original exam sheet.
📄 The identity document you chose during registration – passport, ID card, foreign passport.
🎫 Invitation-pass.
Please note that you can bring water and medication with you if necessary, but the use of any electronic devices is strictly prohibited. During the UEE, you will take two tests — a foreign language test and a general knowledge test — over a period of two hours, and during the UPEE, you will be given 140 questions from the selected subject test, which you must complete in three hours.
