How to apply for postgraduate studies: step-by-step instructions

📚 The admission campaign for postgraduate studies is already in full swing, but applications will not be accepted until September 3. And this year, for the first time, applications will be submitted online! We will tell you how to register and submit documents through the applicant’s electronic account. 💻

📅 KEY DATES

• ⏰ Account registration: July 1–October 20, 2025.
• 📝 Application submission: no earlier than September 3 (exact dates are specified in the university’s admission rules).
• 💰 Enrollment on a budget: no later than September 30.
• 💳 Enrollment on a contract: no later than October 20.

👥 WHO CAN APPLY ONLINE

💻 The electronic form can be used by applicants with:

• 🎓 A master’s or specialist degree.
• 🔬 Issued after 1998 using photopolymer technology.

⚠️ Attention! You must submit a paper application if you have:

• 🌍 A foreign education document.
• 📜 A diploma issued before 1998.
• ❌ No UEE / UET certificates.
• 🔧 Technical problems with registration.

📋 WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

🎯 The following will be taken into account for competitive selection:

• 📊 UET results in research methodology (2025).
• 📈 UEE results (2023, 2024, or 2025) – minimum 150 points for each block.
• ✍️ Entrance exams in the specialty.
• 📝 Other tests in accordance with the university’s admission rules.

🚀 STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

🔑 Step 1. Register an account

1. 🌐 Go to vstup.edbo.gov.ua
2. 📚 Select the section “Higher Education” → “Electronic Applicant’s Account.”
3. ➕ Click “Registration.”
4. 📝 Enter:
   • 📧 Email (will be your login).
   • 🔐 Password (minimum 6 characters).
   • 🔢 UEE/UET certificate details (7 digits of the number + 4 digits of the PIN).
   • 📄 Diploma series and number.

⚠️ Important: Activate your account within 15 minutes via the email! 📧

📝 Step 2. Fill in the data

💾 In your account, enter:

• 📞 Contact phone numbers.
• 📸 Photo for documents (JPG format, up to 1 MB).
• ✅ Check the data of your education documents.
• ➕ Add other UEE certificates (if available).

📋 Step 3. Register for the exam

🎯 Submit an application to participate in the entrance exams:

1. 📝 In the “Register for entrance exams” section, click “Add.”
2. 🏫 Select a university and specialty.
3. 📅 Select a stream (date and location).
4. ✅ Confirm your registration.

📤 Step 4. Submitting applications for admission

🎓 After registering for the exam, submit your applications for admission:

1. 🔍 In the “Submitting applications for admission” section, find the offer you want.
2. ➕ Click “+ Submit application.”
3. 💰 Select the form of financing (budget/contract).
4. 📊 Indicate your UEE / UET results.
5. ✍️ Write a motivation letter according to the university’s requirements.
6. ✅ Confirm your submission.

⚠️ IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS

• 5️⃣ Up to 5 applications for budget places.
• 1️⃣5️⃣ Up to 15 applications in total for all forms of study and funding.
• 📝 Each application requires a separate motivation letter.
