Applications for postgraduate studies are on!
📅 On September 3, applications for admission to doctoral and arts programs will begin. Here is everything prospective postgraduate students need to know for successful admission. 🎓
⏰ KEY DATES FOR THE ADMISSIONS CAMPAIGN
- 💻 Registration of electronic accounts: July 1 – October 20.
- 📝 Application acceptance: no earlier than September 3 (specified in the admission rules of each university).
- ✅ Enrollment: no later than September 30
📋 WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR GRADUATE SCHOOL
🎯 Mandatory requirements:
- 📊 UET in research methodology – 100 points or higher.
- 📈 UEE – you can use the results from 2023, 2024, or 2025 (minimum 150 points for each block).
- ✍️ Entrance exams in the specialty – conducted at the higher education institution.
- 📚 Additional tests – for applicants from other fields of knowledge (at the discretion of the university) + research proposals, abstracts on the topic of the dissertation, etc.
💻 HOW TO APPLY: DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
🔑 Step 1. Registration for entrance exams
📝 First, you need to register for the entrance exams (interview or entrance exam in the specialty):
- 💻 In your electronic account, find the section “Registration for entrance exams.”
- ➕ Click ‘Add’ in the “Active Actions” menu.
- 🏫 Select the university, specialty, and competitive proposal.
- 📅 Select the stream with the date and location.
- ✅ Confirm your registration.
📤 Step 2. Submitting applications for competitive offers
🎓 After registering for the exam, you can submit your application for admission:
- 🔍 In the “Submitting applications for admission” section, find the competitive offer you want.
- ➕ Click “+ Submit application.”
- 📊 Enter your UEE / UET results.
- ✍️ Write a motivation letter in accordance with the university’s requirements.
- ✅ Confirm your application.
⚠️ WHAT TO PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO
📄 Education documents
💻 Electronic submission is only possible with a master’s/specialist’s degree issued after 1998. If your diploma is older or foreign, submit your documents in paper form to the admissions committee.
✍️ Motivation letter
📝 Each application requires a separate motivation letter! Carefully read the requirements of each university — they can vary significantly.
🔢 Limits on the number of applications
- 5️⃣ Up to 5 applications for state-funded places.
- 1️⃣5️⃣ Up to 15 applications in total for all forms of funding.
⚠️ Important! Admission to full-time programs is only possible on a state-funded basis!
🔍 SPECIAL CASES
🔄 Admission from another field of study
📚 If you are applying for a specialty that differs from your diploma, be prepared for additional entrance exams. Each institution determines the list of exams independently.
💰 Reimbursement
📋 If you previously studied on a budget and were expelled, you will need to reimburse the state for the funds spent when applying for a budget place. Order an academic certificate from your previous place of study in advance.
