It has finally happened 🎉: the Ministry of Education and Science has submitted for public discussion the draft Procedure for Admission to Higher Education in 2025. We would like to remind you that this is the main document that regulates absolutely all admission procedures.

Key aspects 🔑

• 🎓 Admission is carried out in accordance with the new list of specialties and fields of knowledge, which came into force on November 1 this year.
• 💰 The grant system has been implemented at the level of the Admission Procedure. For specialties supported by the state (almost all natural science and engineering specialties), the threshold NMT score has been reduced to 140. Applicants with scores in two NMT subjects above 140 will be eligible for a state grant.
• 📝 NMT – valid results of 2022-2025.
• 📚 UEE – valid results of 2023-2025.
• 🎭 The list of specialties for which it is necessary to take the UPEE for admission to a master’s program has been expanded. Artistic specialties, history, etc., have been added. The list of subject tests has also been expanded.
• 🏆 The structure of broad-based competitions has been changed in accordance with the new list of specialties and fields of knowledge.
• 🧠 The Philosophy of Science Exam was introduced for admission to graduate school, and its positive result is mandatory for participation in the competitive selection.
• 📊 UEE for admission to graduate school: the results of each block must be at least 150 points.
