Reimbursement: what applicants for 2025 need to know
📚 Important information for those who previously studied on a state-funded programmes, were expelled and plan to reapply for a state-funded programme or apply for a state grant.
👥 Who is required to reimburse:
• 🎓 Those expelled from state-funded programmes → applying for state-funded programmes.
• 💳 Those expelled from state-funded programmes → applying for programmes with a state grant (NEW!) 🆕
• 🎁 Those who received a grant and are reapplying for it (NEW!) 🆕
📜 In accordance with Resolution No. 658 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 26 August 2015 (as amended), this is only possible if the funds spent by the state on previous education are reimbursed.
⚠️ Please note: The amount of reimbursement significantly exceeds the cost of the contract and does not depend on it! 💸
🤔 ALGORITHM OF ACTIONS:
1. 🏫 Contact the university where you previously studied and request an academic transcript. It takes up to 2 weeks to process, so don’t delay! ⏰
2. 🎓 The issue of reimbursement arises or will arise for applicants to master’s programmes only after they have been recommended for a state-funded place or have received a grant.
3. ✅ After the recommendation: The admissions committee will inform you of the need for reimbursement and instruct you on how to proceed. 📞
4. 📝 After enrolment: Within 10 days, contact your new university with your academic transcript to complete the reimbursement documents.
